Neighborhood LIGHT SHOW

Tucked away in a quiet NE Vancouver, WA neighborhood is a CHRISTMAS SPECTACLE to rival all Christmas spectacles.

Not only is every inch of the Assurety Senior Care Center's architectural and landscaping space chromatically illuminated, the carefully arranged light show flashes in sync with a medium-loud "We Wish you a Merry Christmas".

I love driving by and being jarred by such a sight, but I definitely wouldn't want to be a neighbor!

I love this Stockholm side table from IKEA because of its whiteness and natural wood and glass components. The sliding glass top opens to a bit of a tray, but not large enough for even a magazine! At least my pens will fit.

TUBE flop

SANUK has created a hybrid sock/flip flop, which is sold as a set.

Any takers?

Silver Balls for Cookies - DRAGEES

I have always been fascinated by these supposedly non-edible COOKIE DECORATIONS. (The FDA says they have a minute amount of heavy metals.) It does seem strange to eat what looks like little balls of mercury. At least they are considered non-toxic?

If I were to be a Faberge Egg, this is the one I would be.

Imperial Rose Trellis Egg (1907) by House of Fabergé and work master Henrik Wigström.
