Sometimes when you're on vacation, you take twists and turns, and try the road you never thought you'd take, and it ends up beautifully. Every so often I'll veer away from my preferred style to see what I can come up with. When I taught drawing at the Art Institute of Portland, I had my students draw eggs with strong chiaroscuro to the various lights and drrks.
