PANTONE's Color of the Year 2013 is EMERALD. (Emerald 1756-41)   I know Pantone does color forecasting so designers and merchants can plan for the year, but logically shouldn't the color be chosen AFTER the year is over. Just sayin'. Image source: pantone.com
