Cynthia Mosser

Sometimes at night I visualize a shape or form I would like to work on the next day. In this case, I visualized this. The Mexican folk art decoration a bonus. Love, Cynthia ❤️ Have you considered buying a print of my work? See possibilities at: www.cynthiamosser.com

The other day I was looking at a Mexican-designed coffee mug I bought from Tubac, Arizona. This mug has this blue design all over it, which reminds me of a burrito succulent (sedum morganianum). I have no idea what this represents below. What should I title it? Love, Cynthia❤️ See more folk art-inspired illustrations at: www.cynthiamosser.com/illustrations

The idea of filling up every bit of space with decoration is a propensity of mine. In art, this is called "horror vacui" or fear of empty space. It's the opposite of the minimalist aesthetic. I like to contrast my extensive designs with white space so the viewer's eyes can rest. Still, decoration is fun, and I adore fun! Love, Cynthia Consider a commissioned hand, similar to this, only your hand! The size would be 7 x 5.5 in. $97. Send me a photo, and we'll start there.
