Mary Hambleton at Don Soker


I love the subtle use of Mary Hambleton's value and texture to create this sublimely biomorphic portrait. (graphite, shellac and polymer on paper)

Her other work is much more linear in theme. This particular piece seems a departure. Still, it is nicely subtle (and creepy!)
