A Painting Inspired by Straznice, CZ

In 2005, my Czech friends took me to this beautiful town in Southern Moravia called Straznice. I had never seen anything like it: They paint flowers on buildings, and have a yearly folk festival! The colors they most often use on buildings are red, green, blue and yellow.

When I returned to the USA, I decided to make a painting called "Folk Twister", which represented the feeling of being in this town. Love, Cynthia ❤️
