The Symbolism of Eggs

According to the art history book, Dictionary of Subjects & Symbols in Art by James Hall, eggs represent a symbol of creation. This came to be associated with spring festivals of revival and rebirth, and later with Easter. It's definitely a Christian symbol of the Resurrection. Now I am not a religious person, but I do love the idea of revival (spring) and rebirth (renewal). Love, Cynthia ❤️
